Medical Mission

Bringing hope, help, and healing to those in Tanzania.

During our February 2021 Mission, Safari Project brought a Doctor and their assistants to a small town to hand out vitamins, mosquito nets, and individual consultation. While we only anticipated about a hundred visitors, over three hundred showed up. Families were taxied from all over on buses and motorcycles and the local shops all sold out of food. It was a wonderful day for everyone in the village, and even more so because we made so many connections.

Sometimes in Africa you find yourself in situations that you might never expect. Director Brady Johnson found himself speaking to, and touring an all girls school.

While there, we found several students suffering from malaria, we also discovered that they had no viable drinking water at the school, and the source that they were drinking from was the cause of much sickness. We also discovered that at an all girls school, they had no female hygiene products. None.

Despite the lack of drinking water, and malaria medication, the hygiene products were all that the administrators of the school asked for, because they didn't want to ask for more than they thought they might receive.
