Spoke with Gasper. Uncle wants to sell a total of 20 acres to us for $250. This will be all his land that joins us. We agree quickly not knowing how to pay for it but knowing we must act quickly. This is our time to get what will be our future there. We will give a deposit of $500. This will also pay for our witnesses, pay the village council to conveine and discuss it. The council will post it for sale in the office for two weeks. If no one brings a complaint or claim to the land, then we will proceed to the next step. This will bring our total to 52 acres. We decided that our van must be left in Talawanda when Gasper returns in two weeks to meet with this council so the children can get to school. On Monday the children will be introduced to the village leaders. They must have a name and a picture to go with each child. Also, at that time, we will enroll them in the Talawanda Primary School. This is the school Safari Project supports. After this, they will be taken to hospital in Lugoba to get their insurance. After the insurance is given, they will all receive medical check-ups, wormer, and vitamins. Children are sleeping well and playing well together. They sang their first Chirstian Hymn tonight. I have a recording of it. It was beautiful. Hunter is working hard on our website.
