Today we will not have much to report as our Gasper will be attending and preaching funerals today. Yesterday an old man in the church who was a good friend passed away in Mosquito River. He always suffered with runny eyes. He did not complain, he only smiled. He attended the church in Mosquito River for many years and there is no worry for this good man. Not because he attended church but because he was a child of God. From this day forward, his eyes are no longer a problem. I imagine how right now, he is seeing the greatest sites that he could never even dream of. Also, yesterday on the mountain in Ngoro Ngoro a child of 9 years came down with a headache. He soon began to vomit and it was not long and he to passed away. The church in Ngoro Ngoro rushed him to the hospital but it was to late. Now he is safe. The troubles of this world are no longer his. He will not be hungry, he will not have another headache in all eternity. I can see him in my mind running through the fields with our Father, doing what 9 year olds do, with never another care, only joy.
We are clearing the bush behind the house in Talawanda for three acres to try to create a place the snake will not cross. The work has already begun.
We are on high alert and we must be very careful right now. This snake is a big problem so we need to take care for them. They are children, and sometimes they don't understand the words of those telling them things to keep them safe.
Children are attending devotionals each morning.
